NISO Warns Public on Fake Social Media Handle

The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) has disowned a social media handle on X known as “Nigeria National Grid,” stating that it has no affiliation with the organisation. NISO said it does not own, manage, or operate the handle and warned the public and media against attributing any information from the account to the operator.

In a statement, NISO stressed that all its official communications are issued only through its verified social media platforms and website, urging stakeholders to rely solely on these authorised channels for accurate information about the national grid.
