Let Kids Play
Children between ages 4 to 11 needs more unstructured playtime. According to Audrey Weiss; a Pediatric Occupational Therapist "Children are encouraged to play in backyards, parks and woods as these environment offer sensory and motor experiences". Climbing of trees, collecting of rocks and playing with mud helps develop the brain for learning. Also playing with peers and parents afford kids the opportunity to develop friendship which is a necessary skill for a successful life.
