Outrage has occured on Twitter following the reported robbery incident at University of Uyo where a yet to be identified female student was stabbed in her hostel.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday was reportedly carried out by a four-man robbery syndicate. Some of the students of the school took to Twitter to express outrage over the incident saying the security situation in the school ‘is very poor’.
While the school authority was yet to make a comment over the incident, some of the students disclosed that the Monday’s incident was not the first time armed robbers will be invading the student hostels.

My take on #UniuyoIsNotSafe, I feel that the school management should make the school premises safe and conducive for the students to live. The security should be tight because the students are left in the hands of the school management because the parents trust the school.
