MANILA—Imagine being visited by a legendary figure in sports. and being given something signed by him.
That's exactly what happened to Ji Chang Wook, a South Korean superstar who has topbilled several popular K-dramas, including "The K2," which aired on ABS-CBN, so it's little wonder that he was quick to excitedly share the rare moment on Instagram.
Ji posted a photo of Manny Pacquiao visiting him and his co-stars on the set of "Melting Me Softly" in South Korea, and of the signed boxing gloves the Pinoy champion gave him.
Pacquiao was accompanied by his wife, Jinkee, who is a huge fan of Ji. Jinkee, who first met Ji in June last year, even arranged for a coffee truck to arrive at the set.
It was her apparent personal gift to Ji and the cast, as it had a tarp with the actor's picture on it with the words "Jichangwook Forever" attached to it.
Jinkee has said before that she became a fan of Ji after watching the series "Smile Again."
"Melting Me Softly" is expected to begin airing on ABS-CBN soon (local TV network in the Philippines).
