Televangelist and General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua has called for a three-day prayer and fasting for Leah Sharibu and other abducted students by Boko Haram.

T.B Joshua as he is popular known made the call on Sunday, while urging the congregation and viewers of Emmanuel Television worldwide to take out Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of this week to offer the prayers for them.

The cleric, who in his sermon stated that there is nothing impossible in the sight of the Creator of Heaven and Earth, urged everyone to see the exercise during the afore-mentioned days as an assignment.

Vangaurd reports that representatives from Chibok in Borno and Dapchi in Yobe during the service sought spiritual help from the Pastor in his church.

The group who was seen carrying placards with inscriptions told the General Overseer, that they were at the church because they had exhausted all efforts to secure the students’ release.

Some of their placards read: Please intercede on our behalf for the release of Leah Sharibu; the remaining 112 students kidnapped in Chibok are yet to be released, please help, among others.

A member of the group told Prophet Joshua that Leah’s father could not join them because he had been bedridden by stroke, adding that they had seen the great help he had rendered to people spiritually as they had been following his ministry through Emmanuel Television, hence they plead for intercessory prayers for the students.

The spokesman further stated that they had no doubt that with authorization of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God that He could trigger the release of the remaining students kidnapped in 2014 and 2018.
